We are Randy and Patty Barnes and have been
involved in alternative health for over 20 years, turning to alternative
health when conventional medicine could not explain why our
three-year-old had to be on antibiotics for constant colds and ear
infections. It's been a non-stop learning and life experience
for our daughters and us. The cost of vitamins and nutritional
supplements were very expensive even back then, so we started a
home-based co-op until our main distributor was forced to stop
delivering to home-based co-ops. Patty then become involved in a
local health food co-op by first volunteering, then by becoming an
employee, and finally an officer of the corporation. Patty started Rocky Mt. Natural Store (RMNStore) in 1998. In 2001 Randy joined Patty and runs the Organic Produce Co-op. Our goal was to provide our customers with a friendly, easy shopping experience while making healthy living affordable. As of May 2008 we had to close the retail portion of Rocky Mt Natural Store. Randy still runs the co-op which is open on Tuesday from 9:30 -7 P.M. Patty still does the ordering and books for the co-op but has expanded into All Natural Creations.
